Our Mission
We believe in giving back to the community and supporting causes that are important to us. That's why we donate some of our profits to organizations that care for, rescue, and protect pets and animals in the USA, with an A+ rating with Charity Navigator. Some of our favorite places to donate are The Human Society of The United States, the Pet Finder Foundation, and the ASPCA. Donations come from purchases made through our website, okoolea.com, and Etsy Shop. You can view our donations as they grow here.
Our History
Okoolea was founded in 2022 by Brett Thompson, a retired flight attendant with a background in pet ownership and a film degree from NYU, to create bite-sized, simple, and fun yet informative pet and animal education videos for pet owners and animal lovers alike. Brett was then inspired to start a blog and design apparel and gifts for pet and animal enthusiasts to share their pet passions with others while providing custom gifts to give to other pet owners to celebrate their pet passions.
Our Designs
We believe in using sustainable and ethical practices in everything we do. That's why we only work with suppliers who share our commitment to fair labor practices and environmentally friendly production methods. We also use eco-friendly materials whenever possible, so you can feel good about your purchase.
